Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete an account for Venstap WM, the Venstap vulnerability management platform and its mobile app (“Venstap WM” on Google Play and the App Store), operated by eNeoteric Consultancy Services.

1. How to request deletion

  1. Email security@venstap.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. Tell us whether you want only your own user account deleted, or your whole organization.
  3. We will confirm the request with you by email before deleting anything. Deleting a whole organization must be requested by one of its admins.

If you only need to stop someone from signing in straight away, an admin in your organization can deactivate that user from the Team screen on the web console or in the mobile app.

2. What is deleted

  • Your user account: name, email address, password hash and two-factor settings.
  • Your sessions and the push-notification tokens registered from your devices.
  • If the whole organization is deleted: its assets, scans, findings, reports, scan templates and team members.

3. What is kept

When only one user is deleted, the organization’s security data (assets, scans and findings) stays with the organization, because it belongs to the organization rather than the individual. Audit-log entries that record actions you took may be kept so the organization keeps a complete security record, and we keep any information we are required to retain by law. Data in backups is removed as those backups expire.
